Ian M. Cole is a Bay Area native living on the Westside of Santa Cruz. He grew up fishing our local waters as a Scout, recreational fisherman and diver. He received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2010 in Environmental Studies, focusing on Salmon Ecology. From 2010-2013, he worked for the National Marine Fisheries Service as a fisheries observer for the West Coast Groundfish Observer Program. At the end of 2013, Ian left his job with the WCGOP to approach problem overfishing from a new angle with a new business model designed to connect people directly to their local, healthy fisheries. These days Ian spends much of his time down at the docks working, fishing and surfing.

Charles Lambert was born and raised in the Bay Area and has been an avid fishermen since a young age. He received his Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies, focusing on Fisheries Management from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2011. Prior to joining the Ocean2table team he worked for the Department of Fish and Game as a Field Biologist.


Charlie's passion and appreciation of our oceans is clear to everyone who meets him. In his down time he can be found spearfishing, surfing and camping up and down the Pacific coast.
